ABOUT CHOOSING THE RIGHT LENGTH, WEIGHT, TEXTURE AND COLOR

WHAT EXACTLY IS OFFERED IN EACH SET, AND WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE OPTIONS?

All Star Whisper Hair extensions are sold in a full head set and are made of the same high quality grade 100% natural human hair. The differences between each set are the length and the weight. The higher the grams, the more hair that is attached to each weft.

Our sets are as follows:

  • 22-23 IN (55-60 CM) in length and 150-160 G in thickness

  • 22-23 IN (55-60 CM) in length and 240-250 G in thickness

  • 25-27 IN (65-70 CM) in length and 180-190 G in thickness

  • 25-27 IN (65-70 CM) in length and 270-280 G in thickness

Each of these sets is available in two different textures – straight and wavy.

Our headsets which are 22-23 IN (55-60 CM) in length and 150-160 G in thickness have a total of 4 pieces:

There are two rows of extra hair in one ready extension set – lower and upper, plus two extra wefts, with width of about 7 cm (2.73 inches) each, to be placed highest in the area above the temple to get a spectacular result with a length of hair and around your face which is pretty convenient and appropriate to do in this way.

  • The lower row in these headsets is placed at the bottom, about 5 cm (1.97 inches) higher than the lower line of the own hair. This row is metaphorically from ear to ear, but in the area above the ears, in the middle of the back of the neck. The optimal width of this row here is between 25 and 30 cm (9.75 and 11.7 inches) and if you want and feel comfortable, you can slightly bend the middle of the row down, receiving a slight parabola

  • The upper row is the widest - about 32 cm (12.48 inches) as it is placed highest, and our advice is to aim for both ends to be as far ahead as possible to get the length of the area around the face.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT LENGTH OF THE HEAD SET - 22-23 IN (55-60 CM) OR 25-27 IN (65-70 CM)?

The lengths are defined this way – from to – because of the essence of the human hair. We do not cut the ends of the wefts, leaving them in their natural condition, as cut from the donor’s head. The exact lengths are 23 IN (60 CM) and 27 IN (70 CM), but usually the human hair is thinner by the ends and most of the times the hair extensions have to be cut by a professional hair dresser once put on your head.

Please measure the length of hair when be stretched to straight.

If you want more natural look and not so thick hair ends, then you have to go for a shorter option - 22-23 IN (55-60 CM). If your purpose is to have very thick hair ends, then you have to choose the longer option - 25-27 IN (65-70 CM) and cut the hair extensions. Please note that the hair extensions must be put on your head and we strongly recommend only a professional hair dresser to do the cutting.

If you are looking for a shorter length, you’re always welcome to have your Star Whisper hair extensions cut or trimmed shorter by an experienced hair stylist since they are made of 100% natural human hair. If you decide to get them cut, we recommend having them already clipped into your hair during the haircut. We would also recommend coming up with a numbering system for the wefts, so that you know exactly where each weft is supposed to be clipped in for the future uses.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT VOLUME/THICKNESS OF THE HEAD SET?

Once you have chosen the length of the Star Whisper hair extensions, you have to decide about the thickness. Each length has two different volumes:

  • Star Whisper hair, that is 22-23 IN (55-60 CM) in length can be 150-160 G or 240-250 G in thickness

  • Star Whisper hair, that is 25-27 IN (65-70 CM) in length can be 180-190 G or 270-280 G in thickness

The volumes are defined this way – from to – because of the peculiarity of the handmade wefts of our Star Whisper hair. Each piece of hair is manually combed, braided and assembled and between the wefts there can appear a small difference in their volume. Of course we do everything in your favor and advantage and usually the head set has the higher volume indicated.

When choosing your ideal Star Whisper weight, it's important to opt for a set that best matches your hair type.The lightest volume in both lengths is suitable for extension of thin hair and hair thickening of relatively long hair. Our 150-160 gram/180-190 gram set is specifically designed for those with a fine hair type and is great for adding length and some natural volume to your hair. Choosing this thickness you will get more natural look, not so visible extension and of course some more volume.

The heaviest volume in both lengths is suitable for extension of regular and relatively thick hair and for short hair. Our 180-190 gram/270-280 gram set is our heaviest set and is catered for those who already have thick hair and are looking for that extra voluminous look.

The reason why it's so important to opt for a set that best matches your hair type is because it will help you achieve the most natural blend. For example, even if you have thick hair and don’t want to add any more volume, we still recommend to go for our heaviest set because if you opt for a lighter weight, it may result in the extensions appearing “stringy” or unnatural in your hair. Alternatively, if you have thin hair but want to add a lot more volume, we recommend to go for our lightest set, otherwise the heaviest set may be too heavy for your hair, which can cause discomfort.

Of course you can always purchase an additional weft. We have thought about you by creating an additional option - an option to order extra another one, fourth row/weft, to be re-placed in the middle of the head, with the dimensions of the middle row.

WHICH SET SHOULD I PICK, IF I HAVE SHORT HAIR?

For best results, we recommend that your hair be at least 6-7 inches in length (that’s around shoulder length). It is ideal to go for a heavier set when blending Star Whisper hair with short hair, to ensure that there is enough hair on each weft to work with and create a seamless blend. The both models in the pictures here have their own hair around shoulder length.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT TEXTURE OF THE HEAD SET?

All Star Whisper hair extension sets are available in two different textures – straight and wavy. You should consider here what is the texture of your own hair – if it’s straight, you should go for a straight Star Whispers and if it’s wavy, you can select the wavy head set. Of course it depends on your daily routine – if your hair is wavy or even curly, but you prefer to have it straight, then you can purchase straight Star Whispers and clip them in when you have your hair straight. On the opposite our wavy hair extensions can be styled in curls and remain like this till you wash them next time – the curls will last longer if the hair extensions are wavy.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT COLOR OF THE HEAD SET?

Picture color may be a little different – it depends on the device that you are using.Star Whisper hair extensions come in two different textures – straight and wavy and each texture come in 6 different shades – Dark Brown, Chocolate Brown, Light Brown, Dark Blond, Natural Blond and Light Blond. All straight Star Whispers and all wavy Star Whispers come in these shades.

There are very small nuance differences because of the hair texture and we have divided the 6 main colors in 6 main for the straight hair and 6 main for the wavy hair.

As all Star Whispers are 100% natural human hair, we always prefer to keep the row hair in its natural color. Our Dark Brown, Chocolate Brown and Light Brown shades are mainly natural colors. If your own hair has a color darker than Dark Brown, you should just select the Dark Brown shade and color your Star Whisper hair extensions with the color that you are using.

We strongly recommend only a professional and experienced hair dresser and colorist to do the dyeing of your Star Whispers. It’s very simple and quick to make your Star Whispers darker, but professionals know how to do this and keep the hair healthy and shiny.

All our light shades – Dark Blond, Natural Blond and Light Blond are achieved through dyeing using a multi-tonal adapt system, which means that there are subtle highlights and lowlights, lighter strands and darker strands throughout each set. This gives the shades movement, dimension, and depth. It also ensures that the extensions blend with your natural hair even if your hair color is a shade or two off.

If you go for a light shade, we recommend always to choose a lighter color. If the hair extension is lighter than your own hair color, it’s very easy and simple to dye our Star Whispers in order to achieve darker nuance. We strongly recommend only a professional and experienced hair dresser and colorist to do the dyeing of your Star Whispers.

A hair dresser can easily make blond Star Whispers in a desired nuance – greyish, pinkish, golden, yellowish. The hair will remain healthy and shiny. Considering the quality of our hair extensions and the fact, that these are made only from 100% natural, human hair, we give you a warranty that each one separate result is achievable.

Of course our dark Star Whispers can be made lighter through discoloration/bleaching and again we strongly recommend only a professional and experienced hair dresser and colorist to do this. You should consider that bleaching is harder and longer process, that usually damages human hair, so our advice is always to go for a lighter shade when choosing the color of your Star Whispers.

Also, we're happy to help you select your ideal color match. Please send over some photos of your hair taken in natural lighting where we can see it fully to info@starwhisper.eu. You should take photo in natural daylight, not in direct sunlight, for example in front of the window.

Your hair should be seen fully from top to bottom and you shouldn’t add any filters to the photo. For an ideal hair extension the ends of your hair must be the same color as this of your Star Whispers. Please note that in order to select the right shade, you have to compare the color of your hair ends, not the color of your roots.

DO YOU HAVE ANY COLOR SAMPLES?

All Star Whisper hair extensions come with a tester weft available in the bottom compartment of the box. This weft can be used to determine whether or not the shade is the right match for you. If it's not an ideal match, we're more than happy to accommodate a return or exchange on unopened items.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE SAMPLE WEFT?

We understand that it can be hard determining your ideal Star Whisper color match from your computer screen, which is why we offer a tester weft located in the bottom compartment of each box. This compartment should be opened first to determine whether or not the shade is the right match for you. If it's not an ideal match, we are more than happy to accommodate a return or exchange on packages that have not been opened or tampered with.

The tester weft can be taken out of its netting. You're welcome to take out the weft from the box to hold it up close to your hair for color comparison purposes. We kindly ask that you treat this weft with care as it is a part of the full set. The tester weft cannot be dyed, cut, or tampered with in any other way as it will no longer be returnable if it's in this condition.
